Your First Visit
Upon entering our office, our friendly and courteous staff will welcome you. You will be asked to complete the appropriate forms and paperwork that will provide us with information about you and your condition. fileupload/NewPatientForms2016.pdf
Next you will meet with the doctor to discuss your condition and treatment options. If we feel that yours is a chiropractic case, we will go ahead and examine you. If yours is not a chiropractic case, we will refer you to the doctor who may best help you.
The chiropractic examination is comprehensive and very thorough in order to determine the exact cause of your pain. It will consist of specific orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic testing. Based upon the exam and to complete our evaluation, x-rays may be necessary.
X Ray Studies
X-rays will show us the condition of your spine and help us develop the optimal treatment for your condition. X-rays will also help us rule out more serious spinal conditions such as arthritis and other degenerative changes. In most cases, treatment will begin the same day in order to provide you with much needed relief. Home care instructions will also be given until we see you again.
Report of Findings
When you return, the doctor will present the results of the examination and x-ray studies. If we can help you, we will make the appropriate recommendations and treatment options. Our goal is to provide you relief as quickly as possible and to teach you how to care for your spine so these problems don’t reoccur.
